COCOS is a small intimate Caribbean getaway, owned by a Caribbean hotelier who conceived this resort after hearing so many times from guests what they were looking for, and yet not finding, a truly Caribbean flavoured resort in the Caribbean. Cocos is situated on a small hill overlooking turquoise sea on the sunset side of the island between 2 beautiful white sandy beaches which stretch for half a mile each. The 26 individual wind cooled cottages are located on the hillside overlooking the sea, restaurant and pool.

ACCOMMODATION:

Cocos has only 26 individual suites - less is, after all, much more. Each cottage suite has been designed in true Caribbean style with spacious airy rooms, dark wood floors and white linens. The feeling of peaceful energy can be sensed when you walk in the door.

All suites have their own large balcony providing uninterrupted views of the glistening azure sea.

Each room also has a personal hammock to laze in and relax to the sound of the lapping ocean below. Bathrooms are large with double sinks (his and hers) showers open onto the sea to give a unique bathing experience.

Premium Cottages - Located further up the hill with spectacular sea view and private balcony. Rooms have king size poster beds, fridge restocked daily with drinks of your choice, wall safe, hair dryer, iron on request, ceiling fan, and tea/coffee making facilities. All rooms have private outdoor showers with spectacular views.

Premium Plus Cottages - Located with an incomparable infinite sea view and private balcony. Rooms have king size poster beds, air-conditioning, turndown service, fridge restocked daily with drinks of your choice, wall safe, hair dryer, iron on request, tea/coffee making facilities, and private outdoor showers with spectacular views

DINING:

Cocos serves a contemporary mix of international cuisine, with a strong local influence. Fish, freshly caught by local fishermen, is high on the menu, along with other specialities including spicy local dishes and more international flavours such as pasta, tender steaks and classic salads.

The chef was trained in Europe and ensures the highest levels of service from the staff - always with the friendly Antiguan smile. COCOS' restaurant has a large and varied wine selection comprising New World value as well as the finest from the more established vintners of France, Italy and California.

Guests can also enjoy a fully stocked bar of spirits and beers, as well as champagne for that special occasion.

BEACH:

Cocos rests between two bright white powder sand beaches, gently lapped by a stunningly blue Caribbean Sea. The bays are on the Leeward side of the island and sheltered, thereby providing crystal clear water and excellent swimming.

Sea temperatures in Antigua are always perfect and range from 77 degree Fahrenheit in the winter to 85 degrees in the summer. Cades reef, one of Antigua's best reefs, is a short ten minute boat ride away for diving or snorkelling trips, and a full range of water sports are available on one of the hotel's beaches. The other has been left completely unspoilt, an indulgence, simply for you and your peace.

The hotel also has an infinity pool, with bar service straight to your sun lounger, which is perched on the beach so guests are left with a difficult choice: a gentle dip in the freshwater pool or a swim in the crystal waters of the Caribbean Sea.

ACTIVITIES:

The swimming pool is slightly raised overlooking the beach and is fully serviced all day with drink service. There is a sunfish for sailing, some kayaks and snorkelling equipment with a weekly snorkelling trip to near Cades Reef. At the resort all services and island excursions are readily available.

COCOS is in a short walking distance to Jolly Harbour where there are a host of activities tennis, squash, golf, helicopter excursions, shops, bank, casino and restaurants.
